Camping

This week we have begun to have graduation rehearsal in the Sanctuary!  It was very exciting for the kids to be in the "big room" working on our presentation.  They had a hard time focusing on all of the information that we were trying to get them to remember for the first couple of days, but by the end of the week we were rolling along pretty smoothly!  By next Thursday night they should be great.
Graduation invitations went out in the children's folders on Friday.  If you would like another one to share with a friend or family member, let me know and I will get the kids to make some extra.  We will need the kids in my classroom around 6 p.m. dressed in their caps and gowns.  Bobby pins work well to help keep the caps in place.
We also had a camping theme going on this week.  We had a brainstorming session where we listed all of the things that we would take camping.  We had the big tent up in the classroom and conducted circle time inside the tent!  We also had a special camping theme snack on Friday!

Next week will be taken up with rehearsals pretty much all week.  On Friday we will be heading to Lake Bowen Park for a picnic to celebrate our graduation.
